YGGDRASIL Parts Ways With Label

January 21, 2010

Swedish folk metal band YGGDRASIL has parted ways with German record label Det Germanske Folket. The group is putting the finishing touches on the songwriting process for a new studio album, which it expects to begin recording later in the year.

YGGDRASIL's latest album, "Vedergällning", came out in early 2009. The CD was recorded at Endarker Studios in Norrköping, Sweden with producer Magnus Devo Andersson (MARDUK bassist).

YGGDRASIL's debut album, "Kvällningsvindar över Nordrönt Land", was recorded in 2005 but didn't see the light of day until the end of 2007 via Det Germanske Folket.
